NPHS NJROTC Honors Chief Electrician Mate John Campbell

On March 30, 2026, the North Plainfield High School NJROTC program was honored to attend the funeral of Chief Electrician’s Mate John Judson Campbell. Chief Campbell, a member of the North Plainfield High School Class of 1921, served his country with great dedication during World War II, endured significant hardship as a Japanese Prisoner of War, and died in a prison camp in August 1942. After many years, his remains were returned to North Plainfield, and the community gathered to pay tribute to his service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy.

NPHS Robotics Team Earns 2nd Place

The North Plainfield High School Robotics Team concluded its competition season as Finalists (2nd Place) and earned the Team Spirit Award at the Mount Olive District Competition. This year’s challenge required teams to collect as many 6-inch diameter foam balls as possible and launch them into a funnel-shaped goal positioned six feet above the ground on the opposite side of the field.

Dr. Jennifer Diszler ’91

Dr. Diszler '91 currently serves as the Superintendent of Cranbury School District. She shares, "I love my career in education, especially being in a small district. I know my students and their families. I work hard to create a positive climate and culture for my staff so that they enjoy coming to work every day...in turn, it helps our students be even more successful!"

Charles Thomas NPHS class of 2015

Charles graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2020. He is currently a Police Officer with the United States Capitol Police where he loves his career and being able to make his family proud.

Yanqing graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a concentration and graduate certificate in Water Resources after completing a 5-year Cooperative Education program.
