Drop & Rotate Schedule Coming to NPHS Beginning Fall 2026

The decision for a new high school schedule reflects the district’s commitment to improving instructional effectiveness, student focus, and overall well-being. The current schedule has presented several challenges, including limited instructional time, early start times that affect student focus, insufficient time for in-depth lessons, and increased stress related to workload and class transitions.

Anabell Rosero '14

Anabell Rosero '14 is an Investigative Analyst with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Anabell credits North Plainfield schools with laying the foundation for her success. The district’s wide range of classes and electives encouraged her to explore her interests, and the dedication of her teachers left a lasting impact.

Charles Thomas '15

Charles graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2020. He is currently a Police Officer with the United States Capitol Police where he loves his career and being able to make his family proud.

Yanqing graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a concentration and graduate certificate in Water Resources after completing a 5-year Cooperative Education program.
