On Thursday, January 29, cadets from the North Plainfield High School Navy Junior ROTC program successfully completed their annual Area Manager’s Inspection. 217 cadets participated this year, marking a significant 25% increase from the 174 cadets who took part last year.

The Yes, You Can! program welcomed motivational speakers Keith Davis, a retired New York Giants linebacker, and Germard Reed, a retired Seattle Seahawks player, to speak with students in grades 9–12 at NPHS. Their powerful message of purpose, perseverance, and personal accountability resonated throughout the cafeteria as students were challenged to embrace the idea that “The Second Half Starts Now!”

Dr. Diszler '91 currently serves as the Superintendent of Cranbury School District. She shares, "I love my career in education, especially being in a small district. I know my students and their families. I work hard to create a positive climate and culture for my staff so that they enjoy coming to work every day...in turn, it helps our students be even more successful!"

Karen has been an educator for 15 years and is currently a dual-language 4th-grade teacher at East End School. She has spent time teaching middle school World Language and working in Special Education.

Cinly Tang, Class of 2014, is an Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant at the University Radiology Group. She loves what she does and the people she encounters every day.

Charles graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2020. He is currently a Police Officer with the United States Capitol Police where he loves his career and being able to make his family proud.

Yanqing graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a concentration and graduate certificate in Water Resources after completing a 5-year Cooperative Education program.

Nelson's journey began when he delved into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training back in 2007. However, by around 2012, his dissatisfaction with the uniforms available in the market propelled him to take matters into his own hands.

Dr. Oluwatosin Oluokun is the founder and CEO of Dr. OHHH Juice. As an entrepreneur and clinical nutritionist, Oluwatosin is deeply passionate about the impact her career has on the lives of others. By owning a business in the field of nutrition and wellness, she has the opportunity to reach a wide range of individuals and make a positive difference in their health and well-being.

Matthew Barbosa has a BA in mass communications with a focus in broadcast production. He currently works as a Production Manager for the East Coast division of 1iota Productions.
