Celebrating NPHS Winter Guard’s “Groovin’” Success

The NPHS Winter Guard capped off an exceptional season with a historic 2nd-place finish at the MAIN Championships. After months of dedication to their show “Groovin’,” the team also earned a 1st place victory at their final competition of the regular season. Together, these milestones highlight a season defined by growth, achievement, and pride for the North Plainfield performing arts community.

NPHS NJROTC Honors Chief Electrician Mate John Campbell

On March 30, 2026, the North Plainfield High School NJROTC program was honored to attend the funeral of Chief Electrician’s Mate John Judson Campbell. Chief Campbell, a member of the North Plainfield High School Class of 1921, served his country with great dedication during World War II, endured significant hardship as a Japanese Prisoner of War, and died in a prison camp in August 1942. After many years, his remains were returned to North Plainfield, and the community gathered to pay tribute to his service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy.
