Welcome to the official website of the Canuckling - The Literary-Art Magazine of North Plainfield High School!

We are pleased to announce that the Canuckling 2023 - Unbound issue has won the FIRST PLACE with SPECIAL MERIT Award from American Scholastic Press Association, its highest award and also received an Honorable Mention Award from REALM (Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines), a division of the National Council of Teachers of English! Congratulations to our editors and staff!

A Bit of History...

The Canuckling magazine was first published in 1955 with Marie O'Brien as the General Advisor and Freida T. Bockius as the Art Director. It has been continuously published ever since, showcasing the vast literary and artistic talents of our High School students grades 9-12.

This website serves as a place to showcase the talents of the students of North Plainfield High School. It also serves as a place to honor and celebrate the alumni of North Plainfield High School who contributed over the years to the magazine.
